The Minnesota Twins will be without Aaron Hicks for a couple weeks.

In an interview with 1500 ESPN on Monday afternoon, general manager Terry Ryan hinted strongly that the starting center fielder was headed to the disabled list with a strained hamstring he sustained over the weekend in Washington, D.C.

The Twins later confirmed the news, announcing Hicks will be placed on the 15-day DL and Oswaldo Arcia will fill Hicks' place on the 25-man roster.

After getting off to a horrible start, Hicks has been better lately, but his batting line on the season still sits at a paltry .179/.249/.326 with six home runs and 19 RBIs.

It's likely Clete Thomas will see the majority of Hicks' reps in center field.
