Adrian Peterson, Blair Walsh among 4 Vikings named to All-Pro teams

Another day, another honor for Minnesota Vikings halfback Adrian Peterson -- and three of his teammates.
Peterson and rookie place-kicker Blair Walsh were named to the Associated Press' All-Pro first team on Saturday, while fullback Jerome Felton and linebacker Chad Greenway were named to the second team.
The team is selected from the entire NFL, not just by conference like the Pro Bowl, by a national panel of 50 media members.
Peterson was a unanimous selection with 50 votes, as was Houston end J.J. Watt. It's Peterson's fifth All-Pro honor in six seasons.
Walsh received 42 votes, easily outdistancing Cleveland's Phil Dawson among kickers.
Felton received 12 votes, placing him second behind Baltimore's Vonta Leach (26) among fullbacks.
Greenway got only two votes, which was good for third among outside linebackers because Denver's Von Miller (48) and San Francisco's Aldon Smith (47) took all but five of the votes.
All four players, along with end Jared Allen, are headed to the Pro Bowl in Honolulu on Jan. 27.
Other Vikings receiving All-Pro votes included center John Sullivan (seven), Allen (three), right tackle Phil Loadholt (two) and left tackle Matt Kalil (one).
The AP's other honors, including the Most Valuable Player award, will be revealed during Super Bowl week.
