Sounds like Adrian Peterson has a thought about which free agent quarterback the Vikings should pursue.

Peterson took to Twitter to suggest Michael Vick, the former Falcons and Eagles quarterback. With Nick Foles taking over in Philadelphia, it seems unlikely they'll retain Vick, who will become a free agent March 11.

Vick was No. 3 on our list of free agent QBs for the Vikings to consider. Does he make your list? (Here are the other available options from which to choose.)

Matt Cassel, who had a mutual option in his two-year contract, chose to opt out of the second year and become a free agent. That leaves Christian Ponder as the only quarterback on the roster.

Minnesota could re-sign Cassel, or go in a different direction. The thought in this corner is that the team needs a veteran 'bridge' quarterback as a stopgap until a drafted signal caller can take the reins.
