Allen Reisner wasn't off the Minnesota Vikings' roster for long.
The second-year tight end cleared waivers and was re-signed to the Vikings practice squad on Saturday, two days after he was cut to make room for receiver Jerome Simpson on the 53-man roster.
Reisner, 24, appeared in the Vikings' first three games on special teams but didn't see any action on offense.
To make room on the practice squad, the Vikings waived guard Tyler Holmes, a rookie from Tulsa.
