It's no secret the Vikings need to find a solution at quarterback. Well, the Chicago Bears just crossed off the list one of the intriguing free agent options.
The Bears and Jay Cutler agreed to a seven-year deal Thursday, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.

Externally, there were questions this season if Cutler would return to the Bears or hit the free agent market at year's end. The thought in this corner was that pairing Cutler with this high-quality receiving corps was the best move.
That would have allowed the Vikings, say, a three-year window to shoot for the moon with Adrian Peterson playing at or near his peak. It also would allow Minnesota to spend considerably more resources and effort upgrading the horrendous defense.
Cutler was atop my short list of quarterback solutions for Minnesota. Now that ship has sailed, we look to other free agents and/or draft-eligible college prospects.
If you ran the show at Winter Park, who would you like to see taking snaps for the Vikings in 2014?
