Brian Dinkelman, Phil Dumatrait among Twins' 8 minor-league signings

The Rochester Red Wings announced on Thursday the Minnesota Twins have agreed to minor-league deals with eight players, including outfielder Brian Dinkelman and left-hander Phil Dumatrait.
Dinkelman, 28, played in 22 games for the Twins last season, batting .301 with four RBIs. Dumatrait, 30, was 1-3 with a save and a 3.92 earned-run average in 45 relief appearances with the Twins. Both also spent time at Rochester.
The other players signed are: right-handers Jared Burton, Samuel Deduno, Luis Perdomo and Brandon Wise and outfielders Matt Carson and Wilkin Ramirez. Burton (Cincinnati), Deduno (San Diego) and Ramirez (Atlanta) spent liimited time on major-league rosters last season.
