To replace recently traded running back Trent Richardson, the Cleveland Browns have signed free agent Willis McGahee, according to various reports.
The Broncos cut McGahee, 31, in June. He needed to pass a physical, which he reportedly did Thursday.
The only other running back on the Browns roster before the trade was Bobby Rainey, who is also the team's primary kick returner. He has zero career carries.
McGahee rushed for 731 yards and four touchdowns on 167 carries last season for the Broncos.
