It's tough to argue with the starting pitching the Minnesota Twins have gotten the past two nights.

Carl Pavano struck out six, walked none and held the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim scoreless until the sixth inning of a 4-2 win on Wednesday.

Pavano got great movement throughout his seven innings before turning it over to Matt Guerrier and Jon Rauch, who closed the door again a night after preserving a victory for Nick Blackburn.

Kevin Slowey gets the ball for the series finale at 9:05 CT tonight.
