EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Cornerback Chris Carr and fullback Ryan D'Imperio were back in uniform as the Minnesota Vikings wrapped up a short week of practice on Tuesday.

Carr had been sidelined the previous two days because of back spasms. D'Imperio missed Friday's exhibition loss to San Diego because of a shoulder issue and hadn't practiced since.

The only four players not dressed for practice were defensive backs Mistral Raymond (lower-back spasms), Josh Robinson (concussion), Marcus Sherels (ankle) and Andrew Sendejo (ankle).

Coach Leslie Frazier said those four will be held out of Thursday's preseason finale at Houston, as will most starters.

"For the most part, we're going to hold most of those guys and let some of the guys that are fighting for position get the majority of the play time and see if they can show that they deserve to be a part of our final 53," Frazier said.

"This is a tense time for a lot of players as they're trying to make our final roster, and for the coaches, trying to get a good evaluation of our players in this final game."
