MINNEAPOLIS -- The problems for Chris Cook continue. The Vikings cornerback was kicked out of Sunday's game against the Bears after he contacted an official.
Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery made a leaping touchdown catch with Cook in coverage, and Cook appeared upset after the play. He apparently made contact with an official and will not be allowed back into Sunday's game.
Shortly after the touchdown catch, Cook walked to the locker room with his helmet off, still clearly frustrated.
The Vikings are now down to Xavier Rhodes, Marcus Sherels and Shaun Prater at cornerback. Safety Robert Blanton has already transitioned to play some corner, both last week and Sunday versus the Bears. He played corner at Notre Dame.
