Former Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe tweeted goodbye to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, appearing to have been cut by the second team in four months.

"Thanks to everyone at the Raiders for the opportunity this preseason. It was a blast. @MarquetteKing's got a bright future with you guys!" Kluwe tweeted from @ChrisWarcraft, his often used Twitter account.

"Feel like we both had a pretty strong preseason. No regrets." Kluwe added.

The Vikings cut Kluwe in May after eight seasons in Minnesota.

Kluwe, 31, appears to have lost the punting job to Marquette King, a second-year player out of Fort Valley State.
