A tough contest for the Wolves just got more difficult. But in the scope of life some things are more important than a basketball game, believe it or not.

Traveling for the second game of a back-to-back to play one of the NBA's best teams, Minnesota also will be without Corey Brewer.

Brewer did not travel with the team, following the birth of his son, according to the team's public relations Twitter account.

Going in to Oklahoma City to play the Thunder (39-11) already was a tall order, considering Kevin Love likely is not 100 percent after a fall Tuesday night. Brewer's absence increases the unlikelihood of an upset victory.

Brewer is expected back for Friday's game, according to the Wolves.
