Cross one name off the list of potential quarterbacks the Minnesota Vikings could draft this spring.
The University of Oregon announced Tuesday that Marcus Mariota will bypass the draft and return for his junior season in 2014.
A redshirt sophomore this season, Mariota has passed for 3,412 yards and 30 touchdowns and rushed for 582 yards and nine touchdowns. He was named first-team all-Pac 12 this week.
Mariota has thrown for 6,089 yards with 77 total touchdowns and only 10 interceptions in two seasons.
There could be another name coming off the list, too.
UCLA sophomore Brett Hundley said after the Bruins' 35-14 win over Southern Cal on Saturday that he would not make a decision about whether he would enter the draft or return to school until after UCLA's bowl game.
Hundley has thrown for 2,845 yards with 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions this season. He also has rushed for a team-leading 587 yards and nine touchdowns.
The NFL draft will be held May 8-10 in New York City.
