The Minnesota Twins went through a lot of starting pitchers in the season's first half.

It remains to be seen how long their projection lasts when they return from the All-Star break.

For now, the rotation will start with left-hander Francisco Liriano, who will start Friday's series opener against Oakland.

He'll be followed by right-hander Cole De Vries, left-handers Brian Duensing and Scott Diamond and right-hander Samuel Deduno, in that order.

The team also confirmed an expected move, reinstating closer Matt Capps from the disabled list and optioning Kyle Waldrop to Triple-A Rochester.

Capps had been on the DL since June 25 with right shoulder inflammation. He threw two scoreless innings over two rehab appearances with Class-A Fort Myers, allowing one hit and striking out one.
