MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Twins outfielder Denard Span was scratched from Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners with lingering discomfort in his collarbone.
The injury is still not considered serious, and it's unlikely Span will be placed on the disabled list due to rosters expanding on Sept. 1.
Span missed nine games earlier this month after landing awkwardly on his collarbone in an Aug. 12 game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
