MINNEAPOLIS -- Derek Jeter will lead off for the American League in the All-Star Game, manager John Farrell announced Monday.

It will be a chance to salute the shortstop for the crowd at Target Field, which will comprise fans from Minnesota and around the world.

It remains to be seen whether or not the salute will look anything like this Jordan commercial.

(Did you see Maya Moore get in a salute to The Captain?)
