Doug Mientkiewicz was fined an undisclosed amount for his involvement Saturday in a minor league baseball game, according to David Dorsey of the Fort Myers News Press.

Florida State League President Chuck Murphy did not disclose the amount of the fine, and chose not to suspend Mientkiewicz, according to the report.

Murphy told Mike Bernadino of the Pioneer Press the fine would be "hefty," and that Mientkiewicz would be fined more than Bradenton Marauders manager Frank Kremblas because Mientkiewicz instigated events.

Players for each team were fined $50 for leaving their posts in the dugout, the bullpen or their position in the field. Each manager was also fined $50 for leaving the dugout, according to Dorsey.
