KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- E.J. Henderson's name wasn't on the Minnesota Vikings' list of seven inactive players for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. His playing time remained to be seen.
Henderson, who has been dealing with soreness and swelling in his left knee for several weeks, was expected to play a reduced role in hopes of calming down the injury.
Strong safety Jamarca Sanford also was active after going through a pregame workout to test his injured thigh. Like Henderson, Sanford had been listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
The Vikings' inactive list looked much the same as it has for weeks: cornerback Brandon Burton, safety Mistral Raymond, Adibi, center Brandon Fusco, tackle DeMarcus Love, receiver Greg Camarillo and end D'Aundre Reed.
Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers was active in spite of a high ankle sprain. Safety Jon McGraw, who has been starting since Eric Berry's season-ending injury, was inactive because of a shin injury, leaving the Chiefs to start third-stringer Sabby Piscitelli.
Also inactive for the Chiefs are: quarterback Ricky Stanzi, tackle Steve Maneri, receivers Jerheme Urban and Jonathan Baldwin and defensive linemen Brandon Bair and Jerrell Powe.
