Erik Haula, Darcy Kuemper among cuts as Wild trim camp roster to 28

The Wild preseason roster now stands at 28, after the team announced Tuesday's round of cuts.
Six forwards, three defenseman and two goalies were assigned to Minnesota's American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Wild. The team also placed on waivers seven players, who will apparently be assigned to the Iowa Wild if cleared, according to the team. One player was also assigned to the Owen Sound in the Ontario Hockey League.

To the Iowa Wild: Raphael Bussieres, Josh Caron, Kris Foucault, Tyler Graovac, Erik Haula, and Zack Phillips; defensemen Corbin Baldwin, Colton Jobke, and Kyle Medvec; and goaltenders Johan Gustafsson and Darcy Kuemper.
On waivers to be reassigned to Iowa if cleared: Forwards Carson McMillan, Chad Rau, and Stephane Veilleux, and defensemen Jonathon Blum, Brian Connelly, Steven Kampfer, and Jon Landry.
To Owen Sound in the Ontario Hockey League: Forward Kurtis Gabriel.
