The Minnesota Vikings have not officially announced any staff moves for new head coach Mike Zimmer, but that hasn't stopped other teams from plucking assistants off the previous regime.

General Manager Rick Spielman said last month that all of former coach Leslie Frazier's staff members were under contract and would need permission to seek other positions. On Wednesday, defensive line coach Brendan Daly joined a growing list of those Vikings staffers that have landed elsewhere when Daly was announced as a defensive assistant with the New England Patriots.

Daly, 38, leaves the Vikings for the second time after serving as defensive line coach under former coach Brad Childress from 2006 to 2008 and from 2012 to 2013 on Frazier's staff.

The Vikings haven't made any announcements, but Zimmer confirmed Norv Turner will serve as his offensive coordinator in a Wednesday interview on ESPN. Zimmer's staff also reportedly includes defensive coordinator George Edwards, running backs coach Kirby Wilson and defensive backs coach Jerry Gray.

Frazier assistants that have already found other jobs or reportedly won't return: OC Bill Musgrave (Eagles QBs coach), DC Alan Williams (Lions DBs coach), QBs coach Craig Johnson (Giants RBs coach), RBs coach James Saxon (Steelers RBs coach), DBs coach Joe Woods and defensive assistant Mike Singletary.
