Steve Hutchinson won't be returning to Seattle after all.
The veteran guard, released on Saturday by the Minnesota Vikings, agreed to terms Thursday on a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, ESPN reported.
Hutchinson, 34, visited the Titans earlier this week but spent Wednesday in Seattle, where he spent his first five NFL seasons before signing a seven-year, $49 million contract with the Vikings in 2006.
The Vikings weren't willing to pay $7 million in salary and bonuses this season for a declining guard. But the Titans apparently are hoping the addition of Hutchinson can help their chances to land veteran quarterback Peyton Manning, who still is contemplating options from several teams.
