The Minnesota Timberwolves can't catch a break.
Well, actually breaks seem like the only thing they can catch.
The team announced Saturday that an MRI revealed Kevin Love suffered a re-fracture of his third metacarpal in his right hand during Thursday's game against the Denver Nuggets.
Love will be examined by hand specialist Andy Weiland in New York later this week. A time table for his return is currently unknown.
Love -- who has mostly struggled since returning early on Nov. 21 from initially fracturing his hand before the season -- left Thursday's game early with what the team described as a sprained finger.
In 18 games he has shot just 35% from the field and 22% from three-point range while averaging 18.3 points and 14 rebounds.
