Wolves guard J.J.Barea will play in Wednesday's championship round of the 2013 FIBA AMERICAS tournament. He's been the best player this tournament for Puerto Rico, which will take on Mexico for the title.

This is counter to his role on the Wolves, for which he merely thinks he's the best player on the court.

All jokes aside, Barea has had a good tournament, averaging more than 13 points per game, including a strong performance in the semifinals. He scored 16 points, dished eight assists and grabbed five rebounds as Puerto Rico knocked off the Dominican Republic, 79-67, to advance to Wednesday's championship.

Mexico and Puerto Rico tip off at 7 p.m. CT and will be televised live on NBA TV.

With its performance in the tournament, Puerto Rico clinched a berth in the 2014 World Cup.
