Jamarca Sanford set to move to injured reserve

The Minnesota Vikings will place safety Jamarca Sanford on injured reserve, per a league source. 

Sanford, 29, missed time in June workouts as well as training camp and preseason games to injuries, most recently back and quad injuries.

All NFL teams have until 3 p.m. CT today to trim rosters to 53 players; the Vikings sit at 72 players with Jerome Simpson's suspension, Fred Evans' release and Sanford's move to IR.
