Joe Mauer scratched from lineup with upper respiratory infection

It's one thing after another for the Minnesota Twins on the injury and/or illness front these days.
Joe Mauer was scratched from Friday's lineup in Los Angeles with what has been described as an upper respiratory infection, per MLB.com. Originally penciled in to play first base, Mauer has not caught since Aug. 20 due to neck soreness.
Mauer dealt with a viral infection in early April around the same time he was sidelined with bilateral leg weakness.
