Willingham was taken to an area hospital for the X-rays, according to the FSN telecast.
It appeared that a fastball from Justin Masterson struck Willingham on the left wrist or hand area in the first inning. Willingham was awarded first base and remained in the game to run. He was erased with an inning-ending double play and played the bottom of the first inning in left field.
Jason Bartlett then took over for Willingham in left to start the bottom of the second inning.
UPDATE (1:35 p.m.): X-rays on Willingham's wrist were negative, according to Bollinger.
