Kevin Love will rejoin his Minnesota Timberwolves teammates soon.

If and when he returns to the lineup this season remains to be seen.

The Wolves announced on Thursday afternoon Love has been cleared to return home, one day after he left a loss at Denver after taking an inadvertent elbow to the head from the Nuggets' JaVale McGee.

Love spent the night in the hospital while the team traveled home. Doctors confirmed he has a mild concussion and neck strain, the Wolves said, and Love has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Wolves six more games after that. The season ends against the Nuggets on April 26.
