For the first time in franchise history the Minnesota Timberwolves will have a representative in the three-point shootout.
The NBA made it official on Wednesday that Kevin Love will compete in the event on Feb. 25 over All-Star Weekend in Orlando. Love was also selected to play in his first All-Star Game on Feb. 26.
Love, who has knocked down 44 of his 122 long-range attempts this season (36%), will compete against Ryan Anderson, Mario Chalmers, Anthony Morrow and defending champion James Jones.
Last season, Love ranked among the NBA's most accurate three-point shooters, hitting on 88 of 211 attempts from beyond the arc (42%).
