Michael Beasley is making headlines again for all the wrong reasons.
Less than a month after getting cited for marijuana possession and speeding, the Minnesota Timberwolves' enigmatic forward was caught on video shoving a fan in the face while playing in a New York City streetball game.
According to ESPNNewYork.com, Beasley later reapproached the fan to shake his hand. Instead, the situation escalated, Beasley had to be restrained by tournament security and the game was delayed about 10 minutes.
Beasley's team was squaring off with a team featuring Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant, who has been making a well-publicized tour of the New York City streetball scene.
David Kahn, the Timberwolves' president of basketball operations, said shortly after the NBA Draft in June he expects Beasley to fit into the team's crowded forward rotation this season. The league is in a lockout, though, leaving players to find other places to compete.
