According to multiple reports, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley was cited for marijuana possession and speeding along interstate 394 in Minnetonka last week.
Beasley was found with 16.2 grams of marijuana and was clocked going 84 mph in a 65 mph zone -- both considered misdemeanors.
In an interview with 1500 ESPN last July, Timberwolves president of basketball operations David Kahn said Beasley had assured him he was done smoking dope.
"He's a very young and immature kid who smoked too much marijuana and has told me that he's not smoking anymore," Kahn said on July 22, 2010, "and I told him that I would trust him as long as that was the case."
Beasley played 73 games for the Wolves last season, averaging 19.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 45% from the field.
