With Orlando Hudson sitting out tonight's game with a wrist injury, Michael Cuddyer will make his first start at second base since 2005.
Earlier today, general manager Bill Smith said Hudson will fly to Seattle tomorrow, and will hopefully rejoin the lineup in two or three days.
Cuddyer played 55 innings at second base in 2005, and 327 1/3 innings at second in 2004, so he's not necessarily a stranger to the position. But from a range standpoint, Cuddyer's abilities likely fall well short of what Casilla or Harris could provide.
