MINNEAPOLIS -- Nick Punto, who returned from the 15-day disabled list just two days ago, left Thursday night's ballgame after re-aggravating his left hamstring.

Update: Punto has officially been placed on the 15-day disabled list, and the Twins have recalled Matt Tolbert from Class-AAA Rochester to fill his place.

Alexi Casilla took Punto's place at shortstop, immediately making a spectacular diving stop and backhanded flip with his glove for a force play at second base.

Punto was 1-for-2 with a single before leaving the game.
