Mikko Koivu's ankle surgery would appear to put in question his Olympic hopes for Team Finland. But another Scandinavian member of the Wild is headed to Sochi, Russia, to represent his country.

Nino Niederreiter on Monday was named to the Swiss team for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Niederreiter, 21, joins Ryan Suter and Zach Parise as members of the Wild already named to Olympic rosters. The latter two were named to Team USA on New Year's Day.
