Minnesota Twins outfielder Denard Span appears to be regressing once again.

Span was scratched from the lineup Monday in Detroit after not feeling right during batting practice -- this coming after Span requested Sunday off for similar reasons.

Since returning on August 2 from a two-month layoff due to a concussion he suffered on June 3, Span has made it clear he does not feel 100%, but that he wanted to try playing anyway. Over the last two weeks Span is just 2-for-35 at the plate with three walks, and he told the Pioneer Press his head still hasn't cleared completely.

Ben Revere took over center field duties on Monday with Trevor Plouffe moving to left field.
