Sir Paul McCartney is coming to Target Field.

The Minnesota Twins announced Monday McCartney, the legendary member of the Beatles, will be bringing his "Out There" summer tour to the team's 4-year-old ballpark for a show on Aug. 2.

The Twins finally landed McCartney after originally pursuing him for a concert back in 2011. This will be the third major stadium show in Target Field's history. Country star Kenny Chesney headlined the first two, joined by Tim McGraw in 2012 and the Zac Brown Band 2013.

McCartney played shows at the Twins' two previous stadiums, performing with the Beatles at Met Stadium in 1965 and coming to the Metrodome as a solo act in 1993.

Tickets go on sale for the public on April 28 at 10 a.m. Twins season ticket holders will able to purchase tickets on Friday.
