LeSean McCoy says he's the better running back, but sports books still put money on Adrian Peterson

Peterson, who turns 30 next March, is a 4-1 favorite to have the most rushing yards next season, beating out McCoy at 5-1, per CG Technology. McCoy claimed the 2013 rushing title with 1,607 yards -- 268 more than the second-leading rusher in Matt Forte. Peterson has led the NFL in rushing twice in 2008 and 2012.

Peterson had groin surgery in January after racking up 1,266 rushing yards in 14 games last season. His former backup, Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart, has 50-1 odds to win the rushing title in his first year in Jacksonville.
