Former Twins outfielder Clete Thomas has an invite to spring training with the Philadelphia Phillies, according to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com. Thomas signed a minor league deal on Friday.

For Twins fans, that could put an end to the brief Clete Thomas era, as it's being referred to.

It doesn't serve anyone well to criticize while he's on the way out, so here are a couple quick-hitter stats from Thomas' 2013 presented without analysis. (In short: the Twins were wise to not bring him back.)

Batting average: .214

On-base percentage: .290

Slugging percentage: .307

Strikeout percentage: 28.6

Plate appearances: 322

Home runs: 4

Stolen bases: 1
