Rachel Banham scores career-high 39 as Gophers top Creighton in OT

Led by a 39-point effort from Rachel Banham, the Gophers women's basketball team topped Creighton 88-81 in double overtime at Williams Arena on Sunday in the final game before Big 10 play begins.
For Banham, the career-high 39 points came on 13-of-25 shooting. Banham made all 13 free throws she attempted and also tallied four assists and five steals.
Micaella Riche added 23 points for the Gophers (11-3), who are set to play Michigan State in East Lansing on Thursday in the Big 10 opener.
