The Minnesota Timberwolves' coaching situation just keeps getting more bizarre.
According to a Yahoo! Sports report, president of basketball operations David Kahn recently proposed that Kurt Rambis take a job in the Wolves front office.
As of right now, Rambis remains coach of the Wolves, despite a report to the contrary, despite Kahn reportedly having gone after at least two replacements already, and despite an odd offseason saga that first saw Rambis and Kahn go weeks without speaking.
According to the Yahoo! report, Kahn believed reassignment to the front office was within the parameters of Rambis' contract, which still has $4 million left over two years.
There has been no contact between Rambis and Wolves management in days.
