The Minnesota Twins' veteran free-agent exodus appears complete.
Jason Kubel has agreed to terms on a two-year, $15 million contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks, FoxSports.com reported on Monday morning.
Per the report, the deal is pending a physical and also includes an option for 2014.
Kubel, 29, was one of three longtime Twins whose contracts expired after the season. Now they're all gone, with Michael Cuddyer in Colorado and Joe Nathan in Texas.
Twins officials had refused to close the door on re-signing Kubel, but general manager Terry Ryan called it "improbable" in an interview with 1500 ESPN on Sunday morning.
The Twins signed another veteran outfielder, Josh Willingham, to a three-year deal last week. The plan is to play Willingham in right field, Denard Span in center and a perhaps a platoon including Ben Revere and Trevor Plouffe in left.
