Things are starting to take shape in Twins' camp.

Kyle Gibson apparently has earned the final available rotation spot, according to La Velle Neal of the Star Tribune. Neal reports the announcement is expected later today.

Friday the Twins reportedly place Vance Worley on waivers, who had been a candidate for the spot. The other seen as viable options were lefty Scott Diamond and Sam Deduno.

Deduno, Diamond and Worley are out of minor league options, but Gibson is not.

Deduno apparently will make the team and move to the bullpen, according to Neal. It's not year clear what this means for Diamond, who also could be a candidate to move to the bullpen.

Neal also suggests the Twins may try to package a pitcher to make a trade for some offense.

Twins' expected starting rotation (in no order):

Ricky Nolasco

Kevin Correia

Phil Hughes

Mike Pelfrey

Kyle Gibson

Here's a feature story on Gibson, who became a father during spring training.

Now that we know the rotation, who will make the bullpen? Here's one guess.
