The Minnesota Vikings will introduce Mike Zimmer as their head coach at 11 a.m. on Friday.

It looks as if they also might be able to introduce a new offensive coordinator at that time.

The team is close to an agreement to hire former San Diego Chargers coach Norv Turner to run its offense, according to ESPN. Turner, 61, spent this past season as the offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns.

ESPN reports the other candidates to take over for Bill Musgrave are Kyle Shanahan and Mike Mularkey.

Zimmer was defensive coordinator for the Bengals, meaning Turner's hire would be key. There is a chance Turner would end up being in charge of developing a rookie quarterback, if the Vikings select one in the draft this spring.
