Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has left M&T Bank Stadium to go to a local MRI facility for more tests, according to FOX's Jennifer Hale. He's officially out.
Peterson left in the second quarter with an apparent right ankle injury. He reportedly had X-rays at the stadium, but left at halftime to get a MRI done.
Peterson, 28, has played through groin and hamstring injuries this season. In his first career NFL game in snow, Peterson had seven carries for 13 yards before he rolled out of bounds after a four-yard catch and was injured.
Right guard Brandon Fusco left the game in the first quarter with a knee injury. He's been ruled out.
