Eduardo Nunez reportedly will get a brief callup Thursday, when the Twins can add an extra player for a split day-night double header. The report originally was on Twitter from Jim Mandelaro, who covers the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings for the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle.

The Red Wings confirmed the move Wednesday.

Shortstop Pedro Florimon tripled in the second inning, which raised his slugging percentage nearly 100 points. Mandelaro writes that this is a temporary callup for Nunez. I've speculated that the Twins might look to call up Nunez to compete for a job sooner than later.
