The Minnesota Vikings were reportedly close to finalizing deals with both Norv Turner and George Edwards to fill the top two spots on new head coach Mike Zimmer's staff earlier this week.
A couple reports surfaced on Saturday afternoon that those negotiations have been completed, at least in principle. The moves are still not official, as the Vikings have not announced any such moves as of Saturday. No word as to whether former coordinators Alan Williams and Bill Musgrave still have jobs, but they've reportedly been relieved from their coordinator roles.

Turner, 61, served as the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator in 2013 after six seasons leading the San Diego Chargers (2007-12). As a head coach, Turner led the league's top offense in the 2010 regular season as the Chargers churned out 395.6 yards per game and the second-most points with 441 on the year. However, the Chargers dipped to 31st on offense in his final season in 2012. Turner became a popular name after he coached two Super Bowl champion offenses with the Dallas Cowboys in 1992 and 1993.

Edwards, 47, came from Joe Philbin's staff as the linebackers coach in Miami. Edwards most recently served as a defensive coordinator with the Buffalo Bills from 2010-11. Edwards coached the Dolphins' linebacker squad from 2005 to 2009 before accepting a defensive coordinator post with the University of Florida's Gators football program. He wasn't there more than a month before accepting the Bills job in February 2010. Edwards' only other coordinator experience came with the Washington Redskins as he served as assistant in 2002 and took on full coordinator duties in 2003.
Edwards has coached Pro Bowl linebackers such as retired Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas and current Dolphins linebacker Cameron Wake.
