Report: Vikings no longer in running to land DE Michael Johnson
Cross Michael Johnson off the Minnesota Vikings' list of possible free agent options.
According to a report from ESPN.com's Ben Goessling, the Vikings are no longer in the running to land the former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end.
On Saturday, reports surfaced that the Vikings were interested in Johnson, who played on Minnesota first-year coach Mike Zimmer's defense at Cincinnati, and had reached out to the widely sought after 6-foot-7 end.
Free agency officially opens at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
