Apparently, Percy Harvin won't even get a chance to work out before Sunday's game against Detroit.
ESPN reported on Saturday night the Minnesota Vikings have ruled out their top receiver.
An NFL source declined to confirm the report. But it was always going to be an uphill battle for Harvin to make it back one week after spraining his left ankle in three places at Seattle.
Harvin was on crutches on Monday, didn't practice all week and was seen limping badly in the locker room on Thursday.
The Vikings listed him as doubtful (25% chance of playing) on Friday's injury report, and coach Leslie Frazier left open the possibility he'd be a game-time decision if he made enough progress.
