The Vikings starting defensive line might be set. But that doesn't mean they're done building depth at the position.
Minnesota introduced its new nose tackle Wednesday, when Linval Joseph swung by Winter Park.
On Thursday that pursuit of defensive line depth continued, when the Vikings had a visit with former Bears defensive tackle, Henry Melton. They also re-signed Fred Evans, according to a report Thursday from Pro Football Talk.
Evans, 30, has been with the Vikings since 2006. He figures to be a rotational player on the interior of the defensive line. He is capable of playing nose tackle in Mike Zimmer's system.
It's a one-year real, according to PFT. And Ben Goessling of ESPN.com confirmed the original report.
