Report: WR Jerome Simpson pleads guilty on two DWI-related charges

Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson pled guilty Thursday to careless driving and third-degree DWI, according to Chris Miller of the Star Tribune.

A third charge was dropped, according to the report. That charge was for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Simpson Jerome Simpson arrested" href="" target="_blank">was arrested Nov. 9 on probable cause DWI. The arrest came while he was still under the three-year probation from a previous ruling by a Kentucky judge in 2012.

As Miller notes in his report, Simpson likely will be suspended from the NFL for the latest charges, and is an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
