Brian Windhorst from the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Cavs and Wolves are discussing a possible trade involving point guard Jonny Flynn. Per Windhorst, the Cavs "have been looking at guards that will help them run."
Update: Timberwolves general manager David Kahn told the Star Tribune, "Jonny Flynn is not being traded."
Flynn shares the same agent as LeBron James.
The Wolves drafted Flynn with the sixth-overall pick in the first round of last year's draft. He averaged 13.5 points and 4.4 assists per game as a rookie, while shooting 35.8 percent from three-point range.
On Tuesday, a report linked the Wolves to free agent point guard Luke Ridnour.
